The exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of the most problematic legal regulations that have come into force as a result of the growing globalization and digitization of legal services is the goal of the 1st International Forum of Law Firms, which took place on 20th September at the Mercure Wrocław hotel. Outstanding science representatives and law practitioners from all over Europe took part in the forum.

In the first part of the forum, representatives of international legal organizations presented the benefits of membership in individual organizations for individual lawyers as well as for local governments and legal associations at local and national level.

Attorney Jędrzej Klatka, chairman of the Foreign Commission at the National Chamber of Legal Advisers, interestingly discussing the involvement of KIRP in the work of international legal organizations, made a preliminary presentation of each of them. Then their representatives, presenting promotional videos and interesting photos, shared with the participants of the forum detailed information about the given organization, including their personal experiences, impressions or memories of congresses, trainings and other initiatives of each of them. The topic of international legal associations and organizations was also returned at the end of the forum during a short quiz with knowledge about them, in which the prize was the publication of Wolters Kluwer.

Later in the forum, during the planned three panel sessions, the speakers discussed the latest challenges in the field of cross-border disputes, the growing problem of trade agreements in international trade and the extremely interesting issues of compliance analysis as a risk management system in international corporations. Forum participants, having to make a difficult choice between three noteworthy panels and interesting discussions, often decided to migrate between them.

The first panel session was followed by a workshop part. Forum participants had a choice of three interactive workshops on topics relevant from the practical point of view: client representation before the European Court of Human Rights, family law in terms of international private law and international protection of industrial property rights, including brand strategic management in the context of international expansion of the company. The workshops were conducted in Polish and English.

At the end of the forum, a panel was held on the subject of managing a modern office in the perspective of developing marketing tools and new technologies. Speeches on the issues of globalization of the legal services market and the development of LegalTech met with great interest and created the basis for an extremely fruitful panel discussion on the future of legal services in the context of the development of artificial intelligence tools. 26 speakers, distinguished experts (legal advisers and lawyers) from all over Europe took part in the forum, including from Italy, Great Britain, Germany and Spain.

Their participation and high level of presentations attracted a large number of listeners, which indicates the need for in-depth actions and initiatives resulting from the dynamic development of new technologies and the challenges it poses to professional proxies. The forum was organized by the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wrocław. The media patronage over the event was: C.H.Beck publishing house, Wolters Kluwer Polska publishing house and Rzeczpospolita daily. The National Chamber of Legal Advisers was the honorary patron of the forum.
